Net Worth Update: Mid April

by Ryan on April 12, 2008

It’s mid April and here is where we stand. This is the first official net worth post and will create a starting point where future posts can compare and contrast progress in the contained asset and liability areas.

That student loan number sure is a hairy monster but fortunately more than half of the total is contained with semi-friendly interest rates. Bucket #2 involves the gazelle intense elimination of the rest.
Due to some fortunate transitions in the employment world we have been able to build our emergency fund to $3,343.
Here are the specifics, next time we can do some analysis and track our progress…

Click here for the actual spreadsheet which contains a few more details. [note: this link will always show the most current up-to-date net worth. Refer to these static images for historical analysis]

P.S. Keep up the great animating Jake.

It sure is a nasty number to tackle. It’s going to take lots of work and discipline…Not fun but the feeling of freedom when they are gone will be well worth it.
