Yikes, we just finished our net worth calculation for October and well, it looks like it spent 30 days watching the Colbert Report instead of marching towards the land of $0. We were very fortunate to post an increase of $60 or 3%. Our total net worth stands at -$1,861.
Three important things took place this month: First, we are happy to report that our DBA earned its owners (us) a net income of just over $2,000 this month which is really exciting. This is the second month in business after spending the first month's income to pay off all of the equipment, tools, and supplies we needed. Keep on Truckin'.

Lez and I have also been saving for several months in the hopes of purchasing some furniture and a really nice DSLR camera. Clench your teeth, we got both this month. We found a nice set for our fireplace/living room/dining room shown below. Hopefully it will last us about 40 years. It better last us 40 years.
We also purchased a really nice digital camera, the Canon EOS 7D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-inch LCD, and basic 28-135mm lens. While this wont last us 40 years, it is a massive improvement from our last and propels us into a whole new level of hobby/amateur photography. We will be posting some pictures just as soon as we learn how to use it.
We are also in the process of creating a new budgeting and saving system and tying things into our list of goals and aspirations. More on this soon...
How did you guys do?
