It’s official. With the dispensing of a deli counter number at the Social Security office we start to wrap up the legalities of getting married. Oh yeah, did I mention that Ryan and I were married in March?
We had a small ceremony at the Irondequoit pioneer house, one of the few surviving original homes in our community built around 1830.
The judge and town historian were great and helped us pull off a fun and special time with our close families.
We lucked out with the weather and although chilly caught some great sun and avoided rain.
Ryan worked with Stacey at Gemvara to customize a beautiful unique ring with a leaf pattern and diamonds and emeralds. I am ecstatic. I love it. The company expedited the design and shipment to make sure we got it in time. We really can’t recommend them enough. Thanks Stacey.
We just returned on Friday from a two week honeymoon road trip making stops in Atlantic City, Cape May, Chincoteague and Assateague Island, Washington D.C. for the cherry blossom festival, Richmond and Tredegar Iron works, The Blue Ridge Parkway, The Biltmore Estate, Monticello, Dollywood (by accident), Great Smokey Mountains National Park and more. We are still working on the captions and hope to have a slideshow up soon.
