The need to save your hard earned money has never been as important asit is in today’s unreliable economy. Thousands of Americans are falling prey tohuge debts because of unwise money management. The rising useof credit cards just adds to their debt woes. What can one do to break thisvicious cycle of debt? Simply determine to use your money wisely! Unplannedexpenses consume a large chunk of your income, read on to know how you can savea considerable sum with some planning.


There are a number of ways that you can employ.

1)    Saving on your groceries: You can save alot on your groceries by being more frugal in the supermarket. Prepare agrocery list, plan out a weekly menu and have a budget. This will help you tostop spending impulsively. You can also buy items of frequent use in bulk.
2)    Stop impulsive buying: Did you purchasesomething recently which is now just lying at one corner of your house unused?Impulsive buying makes many people buy things which they can actually dowithout. Stick to just the things that you really need.
3)    Avoid eating out: You will be surprised to knowthat the average person spends nearly $2000 a year on eating out! Restaurantsare expensive. How about cooking your own food at home? It’s a lot cheaper andhealthy, too!
4)    Find economic ways to commute: You can bereally bothered by the amount that is used up for everyday conveyance to youroffice. Start using public transportation or arrange for a carpool. If yourplace of work is not very far, you can even walk it out and burn some calories!
5)    Avoid using credit cards: You have heardthis a thousand times, but yes it is that important! Stop using your creditcards altogether! It will keep you away from debt. The simple formula is “Ifyou can’t buy with what is there in your wallet, you better do not buy it atall!”
6)    Be frugally fashionable: A minimalistwardrobe would help you save up a lot if you are a fashion freak. Try outcasual pants, T-shirts and plain solid colors. You can wear these all the yearround.
7)    Use coupons: Using coupons can be a great saving tip.Organize your coupons and try to utilize them whenever you have a chance.
These are just a few ways which can help you with your savings. Beinga little careful can do wonders for your money-saving activities. Be clear withyour necessities. Saving some money here and there would ultimately help you toac
cumulate a decent amount.
